Estimate only

EODB rank calculator

Lower rank means an easier place to do business. This is the Ina Ortiz (2014) estimate, not an official World Bank score.

Formula. Predicted rank = 35.187 + (11.284 × Income Group) − (0.676 × bank usage %) + (1.593 × outage losses %) + (0.181 × permit days)

Bands use a typical 1–190 EODB scale, split into thirds. Strong is 63 or better, average is 64 to 127, and weak is 128 or higher. A result outside 1–190 is still shown and classified on that same rule.

Check the formula before you publish

Use the test case from the brief. The result must be 59.918, classified as a strong estimate.

Income group 4 · bank usage 50% · outage losses 5% · permit days 30
35.187 + (11.284 × 4) − (0.676 × 50) + (1.593 × 5) + (0.181 × 30) = 59.918

Strong is a predicted rank of 63 or better. Average is 64 to 127. Weak is 128 or higher. Lower is better. Change STRONG_MAX and AVERAGE_MAX in the script if you want different cutoffs. That is a one-line styling or copy tweak.

Paste into ClickFunnels

  1. Edit the funnel page and add an HTML / JavaScript element (Custom Code in ClickFunnels 2.0, Custom JS/HTML in Classic). Do not use a plain text element.
  2. Paste the block below. It starts at <div id="eodb-rank-calculator"> and includes the style and the script.
  3. Place it in its own row, not inside the opt-in form. A form nested inside the lead form can break the page.
  4. Preview the published page. The editor canvas sometimes does not run the script; the live preview does.
  5. Run the test case. You should see rank 59.918 and Strong estimate.

The embed is self-contained: no libraries, no external files, and no data uploaded. Colors are the variables at the top of the style block (--eodb-navy, --eodb-white, --eodb-coral), so a color tweak does not touch the formula.
